Retired Brood Matron While Rooster Valley’s Miss Tilly has been one of our favorite pheasant hunting dogs for a long time, her true gift is being a good mother. In 2006 she had her last litter of AKC registered German Shorthaired Pointer puppies. Her last litter of puppies were fat and healthy and turned out to be one of her best litters ever. After the 2006 pheasant hunting season she officially went into retirement where she can now sit by the fire and relax while the new dogs do all the work. She will still hunt occasionally with the boss but she has earned herself a well-deserved good long rest.
